10 Month Pic.

She hates to sit like this and refuses to smile for the camera anymore.

This is the best we could get.

K and N.

K = 10 months, well one day shy.

N = 4 months, well six days shy.

They are the same size. Actually N outwieghs K by about a 1/2 pound.

10 Months.

K is 10 months old.

holy cow.

I can't even believe how old she is.

She is cruising all over the living room. Still not crawling, but at this point, I think it would be funny if she went straight to crawling. I just hope she walks before her first birthday.

She gives kisses. But really they are open mouthed slobbery fabulousness straight to your cheek. Hilarious.

She waves bye-bye and hi. She claps when you say, "clap your hands!"

She holds our hands and walks. She started to really love doing that this week. And last night she started only holding on with one hand.

She is still taking two fabulously long naps a day, 2 hours or so. Which is really fabulous for me.

She tries to copy our words but still only really says mama, dada, dog, and cat. But it is really funny when she points to something, you tell her what it is and she tries to copy you. Sometimes it sounds really close. If the item is too syllables she will make a two syllable sound. It is pretty cute.

Pictures to come

Last night I ordered her invites for her birthday party. I want to send them out by mid Feb. Now I have to grab a couple giant lollipops, make a list of food to make, eat, buy, and finalize the guest list.

I am trying to do this in stages so it isn't such a burden on the wallet come March.

Birthday Party Planning

In full effect!

I got an email from baby center yesterday and it said, "Hey, your baby is 43 weeks old!"

Um, excuse me.

43 weeks.

Aren't there 52 weeks in a year?

9 Weeks until her birthday.

So birthday plans commence.

And we got the store! Sweeeeeet!

Candy Shoppe it is.

I have so many ideas! Lifesized candy land, sundae bar, dessert bar, bright colored fruity beverages (spiked for the adults of course), cupcakes and cake, giant lollipops everywhere, candies all over the place. I just have to pick my faves and go with it. Keep it simple.

Have I mentioned that I have 1000sq to decorate. Oh jeez.

I am on a Mission, Bitches.

I am going to lose 30 pounds.

I am starting tonight.

Dieting might make my supply drop but I will try to take more Fenugreek to counteract my dieting.

Working out might make my supply frop but I am over the excuses.

So today begins my mission. I wasn't even really tracking today and only went over my limit by 100 calories. Not too bad for an off day.

I saw some pictures of me and I am disgusted. I knew I was big but I had no idea that I looked like that.

I am using this blog for accountability but it won't be all weight loss all the time. I will still have my regular ridiculousness going on too.

So, I am on a mission, bitches.

I have a good feeling about this year. I am not sure I can pinpoint it, I just feel it is going to be a good one. I feel like this year is totally unknown. Like anything can happen.

We have no plans to do anything. We have no vacations booked. I just think this year is going to be a good one.

There are so many different ways this year can take us. For the first time in a long time, I can't say where I will be in 5 months. That's crazy to me.

I feel like something big is going to happen this year. Something good.

I sure hope I am right.

And a picture because they're fun.

Birthday Party!

Now that K's birthday is only two months away, I am trying to get the big stuff taken care of...location and making invites. The rest will just happen.

So my original plan was to have it in a barn that a friend of the family has, she neglected to tell me it is up on a hill, on fire roads, people will have to take a 10 minute drive up the hill. Um, not going to work with my 20 cars minimum heading up the hill.

Soooo, on to another plan.

There is a general store that closed down that a friend owns. Well, he owns the building. I think we are going to be able to have her party there. Now I am thinking I need to change her theme from cowgirl chic to candy shoppe party. I mean, we are possibly having her party in a building that says, "General Store" over the door. How cute would it be to go along with the theme?

I am thinking desserts and candy gallore. Lifesized Candy Land game. King sized candy bars with personalized labels for favors. A Pinata. A candy/dessert bar. Colorful drinks - strawberry lemonade, lemonade, and maybe a blue or green drink. An invitation with a piece of candy of it.

This is too cute!

And these?! Adorable!

52 weeks in a year.

1 picture a week

for 52 weeks.

Right here, on Fridays.

Bring it on.

This is not my first Project 52 submission but I feel it needs a photo anyway, so I leave you with our wedding.

New Years Resolutions

My New Years resolution is to collect an entire set of Riedel wine glasses.

They really so make a difference when drinking wine.

I want a set of 8 of each red varietal glass.

This is a good resolution for a couple reasons:

1. it is a resolution I can actually keep.

2. it is attainable.

3. it will really enhance my wine drinking habits and make them so much more delicious.

Bring it on 2011!

2010 was a fab year.

I turned 25 and got a fab facial and pedi with my bestie.

The hubbs and I celebrated a fantastic first year of marriage.

The bitty baby was born.

Timm took 6 whole weeks off work to celebrate and bond with our newest addition.

I got to start drinking fabulous wine again.

We celebrated many weekends at the river, enjoying our fabulous home.

Miss Karter celebrated her first 4th of July and was in her first wedding.

Timm celebrated another birthday and we made plans for a fabulous birthday for him for next year.

We celebrated Miss Kiki's 6 month birthday.

We dressed K up as a sunflower.

We started feeding Miss Kiki fingerfoods so she could have turkey and mashed potatoes on
Thanksgiving. She liked it.

We went to Disneyland.

I can't wait to see what 2011 will bring us!

Fabulousness, I am sure.
